| Education | Adult Education 2008 - 2009 Adult education comes in may different forms at Temple Anshe Sholom. We offer a variety of learning experiences ranging from the tradition to the experimental. These include engaging in weekly Torah Study, adult discussion groups, book chats, an annual scholar-in-residence weekend, joint educational programs with other Jewish organizations, field trips to local and national landmarks, retreats, and hosting guest speakers at Shabbat services. If you are searching for a place to learn more about Judaism, you've come to the right place. Study With the Rabbi HAFTARAH STUDY Every Shabbat and on Festivals we read a prophetic portion known as the Haftarah. For many, prophetic language is an enigma and confusing. Furthermore, each Haftarah is an excerpt from a prophetic book, and thus without context. If you would like to better understand what we are reading, and learn more of our Sacred Scriptures (Tanach), come and study with us from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Wednesday afternoons beginning October 15th.Adult Hebrew Class Rabbi Caplan is starting a new Adult Hebrew Class after the High Holy Days.
