Tree Of Life
“It is a tree of life to those who hold it fast…”
Generations of Jews have made it a custom to sanctify their simchas with a donation to charity.
What a wonderful way to give thanks when celebrating the birth of a child or grandchild, or when rejoicing at the Bar or Bat Mitzvah, the Confirmation, or the wedding of a loved one or friend.
Temple Anshe Sholom has created the Tree of Life to enable all of us to give thanks for important moments in life – Simchas, high achievements, graduations, special birthdays and anniversaries – or just the very fact of being.
And while you are putting a leaf on our beautiful Tree you will also be supporting the work our Congregation does; teaching Torah to children of all ages, providing a place for prayer, study and community.
We hope you will make the Tree of Life an important part of your family’s tradition, a place where special moments are thankfully remembered with a special gift to the congregation, which seeks to link our lives with the Source of Life.
There are 300 donor leaves and 12 major contributor bricks available. Each leaf is $300 and each brick is $1200. All donations will help support Temple Anshe Sholom.

Memorial Plaques
The memory of a loved one is often a comforting thought as you attend services in our sanctuary. Memorial plaques are a permanent reminder of family members and close friends that touched our lives and enriched our Jewish community. Memorial plaques may be purchased for $500 by contacting the temple office.
